Senior Technician – Electronic Security Systems

VIGILUS Côte d'Ivoire is hiring 01 Senior Technician in electronic security systems to strengthen its technical team in Abidjan.

About the role

Reporting to the technical manager, you will install, commission, maintain and troubleshoot the electronic security systems deployed at our clients' sites (companies, institutions, industrial and residential sites). You will ensure equipment reliability and high service quality.

Your duties

- Install, wire, configure and commission video surveillance (CCTV / IP), access control, intrusion detection and fire detection systems
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on installations
- Diagnose faults and respond quickly on site
- Configure associated network equipment (NVR/DVR recorders, IP cameras, switches, remote access)
- Take part in site surveys and help prepare quotes
- Write intervention reports, acceptance reports and maintenance sheets
- Train and advise client users on system operation
- Comply with health and safety rules and company quality procedures

Required profile

- Senior Technician diploma (BTS, DUT or equivalent) in electronics, electrical engineering, networks or electronic security
- Proven experience installing and maintaining electronic security systems
- Proficiency in IP video surveillance, access control and intrusion / fire detection
- Good knowledge of computer networks (IP addressing, device configuration)
- Ability to read electrical plans and diagrams
- Autonomy, rigor, responsiveness and customer focus
- Availability for on-site interventions
- A driving licence is a plus
