Founded in 2014 in Senegal, Vigilus works closely with banks, multinationals and government institutions. Since its creation, the company has operated according to a dynamic centred on results and responsibility, implementing 'security value' for each of its clients.
Emphasis is placed on continuous employee training to achieve objectives of efficiency and excellence. This philosophy, upheld since the beginning by Mr. Alassane MBAYE, has enabled the group to establish itself as a reference player in West Africa in less than a decade.

Foundation & Electronic Security
Creation of Vigilus with an initial focus on electronic security. The group launched under the slogan 'Our innovation, your security' with a globe and eye logo symbolising permanent vigilance.
New Visual Identity
Brand reinforcement with the adoption of a stylised eye logo and the name 'Vigilus Sécurité'. A stronger identity to support the group's growth.
Establishment in Senegal
Official launch of activities in Senegal. Vigilus sets up in Dakar and forges its first collaborations with banks, multinationals and government institutions.
Integration of Guard Services
Extension of the offering to include human surveillance and guard services. The logo evolves with a combined shield and eye, reflecting the positioning as 'Expert in security solutions'.
Fire Safety, IT & Facility Management
Major portfolio expansion: fire prevention, IT solutions and facility management join the offering. The logo incorporates technological elements under the slogan 'Safety Security IT Solutions'.
Transformation into Vigilus Groupe SA
Major evolution of the legal and commercial structure. The company adopts the form of a Société Anonyme with a capital of 120,000,000 F CFA and the slogan 'Facility Corporation'. The logo is completely modernised.
Cleaning & Banking Technology
Launch of Vigilus Clean (certified cleaning services) and the banking technology division: distribution and maintenance of ATMs, combating document fraud for financial institutions.
Dual ISO 9001 & ISO 29001 Certification
Vigilus Groupe SA achieves dual certification ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management) and ISO/TS 29001:2020 (Sectoral management for petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries). An international recognition of operational excellence.
ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 Certifications
Obtaining ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001:2018 (Health and Safety at Work) certifications. Vigilus now holds four ISO certifications, confirming its commitment to sustainability and the well-being of its employees.
Vigilus Facilities & Transport Logistics
Corporate name change to Vigilus Facilities and launch of the Transport & Logistics division (Vigilus Mobility). The group consolidates its position as leader in Facility Management in West Africa.
