First Aid Training (SST)

Vigilus offers Workplace First Aid (SST) training to develop employees' first aid skills in the workplace. This training prepares participants to respond effectively to workplace accidents and medical emergencies.

SST training program:
- Role of the Workplace First Aider — Legal and ethical responsibilities of the SST in the company
- Alert and communication — Emergency services alert procedures, emergency communication
- Protection of victims and the environment — Securing the scene, protection of bystanders
- Victim assessment — Vital and circumstantial assessment, determination of intervention priorities
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) — Resuscitation techniques for adults, children, and infants
- Use of the automated external defibrillator (AED) — Usage protocol and equipment maintenance
- Management of injuries — Hemorrhages, bone trauma, burns, medical emergencies
- Recovery positions — Lateral recovery position, semi‑sitting, lying down depending on the type of distress

14‑hour training, annual refresher recommended, training certificate issued upon completion.
